From an original script by Jimmy Gardner and Dominic Lees, this drama-thriller tells the story of two brothers from Poland who come to make their new lives in London. It is a film about love, loyalty and betrayal, set in the underworld of East European migrants in the big metropolis. “Outlanders” was shot in London, the Isle of Sheppey, France and Gdansk, with a cast from more than a dozen different countries.
“Outlanders” has won five major Awards at Film Festivals:
Best Film and Best Director at the Bragacine Festival of Independent Film (Portugal, 2007)
Best Feature Film and Foreign Critics Award at the Festival Cine Pobre (Cuba, 2008)
Best Actor for Jakub Tolak at the Ourense International Film Festival (Spain, 2008).
